- Most private health funds with extras cover will provide
a rebate for a consultation with an Accredited Practising
Dietitian (APD). Actual rebates depend on your level of
cover. All Dr DIET dietitian’s are
APD’s
- If you have a chronic condition (ie. lasting longer than
6 months) you may be eligible for an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC)
Plan which entitles you to a $47.85 rebate through Medicare. This
MUST be set up with your General Practitioner BEFORE your dietetic
consultation
- Discounts may apply for pensioners and Health Care Card
holders
